Unleashing the potential of Citizen Science Data for monitoring the SDGs

The Crowd4SDG project team are organising a panel discussion entitled “Unleashing the potential of Citizen Science Data for monitoring the SDGs” for National Statistical Offices and Systems that will take place on 27 May 2021 at 14:00 – 16:30 CET. The panel is organised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), which is a partner in the EU-funded Crowd4SDG project, to share the results of the Crowd4SDG report developed with the guidance of the Advisory Group on how to leverage citizen science data for monitoring the SDGs using both “active” and “passive” approaches, as well as what quality assurance criteria to consider.  Several National Statistical Offices and other organisations will share their experiences and work on the use of citizen science data. Register for free here.
