The most typical citizen scientists are married men!

The activities in citizen science tend to involve a variety of people representing different walks of life – some at the professional level, some at the enthusiast level. Based on the initial results of a survey conducted by the CS Track team earlier this year, it was found that the common citizen scientist was likely to be married and had tertiary education, e.g., a master’s degree or equivalent. Download the full whitepaper entitled “Themes, objectives and participants of citizen science activities” to learn more about who usually takes part in citizen science activities and who doesn’t.
