WeObserve project launches Open Data Challenge

The ultimate goal of the WeObserve Challenge is to find new approaches and solutions to respond to environmental challenges through open citizen-science datasets, as well as to produce applications and services and showcase citizen science data for public benefit. The two winning individuals/teams will each be awarded €5,000 cash. In addition, the WeObserve team are organising a webinar on Tuesday 16 June at 15:00 CEST aiming to introduce the objectives of the challenge as well as the story of the citizen generated environmental datasets that are made available in the context of the challenge.
