Societal impact is increasingly central to scientific research. How does new knowledge contribute to solving major issues in society? And how can we gain knowledge that is actually beneficial for society? Scientists are motivated to put their knowledge into practice, which requires a deeper understanding of that same society. Cooperation is essential. During this Citizen Science Symposium, which will be held on Thursday, 12 May, participants of the event will be invited to dive deeper into what it takes to establish a long-lasting and fruitful cooperation between science and society.
