The activities in citizen science tend to involve a variety of people representing different walks of life – some at the professional level, some at the enthusiast level. Based on the initial results of a survey conducted by the CS Track team earlier this year, it was found that the common citizen scientist was likely to be married and had tertiary education, e.g., a master’s degree or equivalent.
